Price currently sits above the long-standing down-sloping high-to-high trendline. If price manages to hold here, then we can see a bullish continuation of the overall trend.

The DAX remains bullish above 11005

29-01-2019 Dax 30 Analysis

Dax Profile

The majority of the session yesterday was spent in a series of lower lows and lower highs. We attempted to break inside the value area from Friday, but failed.

This morning’s gap lower is currently testing the value area low. If this is broken, we expect to find yesterday’s low and perhaps a deeper retracement towards 11075.

If price manages to get above the point of control, then we expect to see the value area high and beyond the VAH, the obvious target is the high from yesterday.
