European markets opened quite mixed today. EU Trade Commissioner Cecilia Malmstrom said that the bloc must ‘react’ if Washington decides to raise the existing tariffs on car imports from Europe. She added that she is travelling to the United States next month for a new round of trade negotiations. Also ECB still set to turn off QE taps despite cocktail of risks. The European Central Bank will end its bond-buying programme in less than three months, with a low likelihood of an extension despite a cocktail of political and trade concerns.
